Heritage’s white internal doors are a great option for cottages, barn conversions and even more modern properties. Especially if you are wanting a pop of colour in your home. We make Heritage ledged doors to the same high-quality standards as our oak ledged doors. We believe that they are by far the best quality ledge doors on the market.

White Internal Door – Timber

Our specialist staff hand make and finish each white internal door in our factory in Sheffield. We use a Vths grade of redwood (pine) sourced exclusively from northern Scandinavian mills to ensure we use slower grown timber for better stability. We start with 95-115mm components to make our ledged doors depending on the timber available to us at the time of producing. V Groove doors give a subtle and clean look which works particularly well in period cottages or barn conversions.

White Internal Door – Construction

Every door is handmade and we thoroughly check these prior to despatch.  Ledges are finger-jointed from long lengths of solid pine for the most stable door.  We then glue, pin and hydraulically press on each ledge, just like on our oak doors.   We do not simply staple the doors together as you will see on most mass-market pine ledged doors.  This process makes our door by far the strongest and most durable available in the UK.

As this is a rustic door, the grain and knots of the natural timber will be visible through the coats of finish. Please be aware of this before ordering.

Browse our additional extras to complete your purchase! We offer hardware packs, bracing or glass panels so you can personalise your door. Our hardware packs are available in a beeswax or pewter finish, including heavy duty strap hinges and a Suffolk latch.

Delivery

Our sales team will contact you as soon as your order is ready to arrange a delivery date that is most suitable with yourself. We use DX Delivery to deliver all of our large items or The Pallet Network for larger orders with multiple doors.

Our transit time is 1-2 working days and each product is sufficiently packaged by our efficient warehouse team.

We ask that all deliveries are checked for damage, missing items or any problems within 24 hours of receipt. This will ensure our team can deal with the problem as quick and effectively as possible.
