About Us
About us!
We are a family owned business, based in Killamarsh, Sheffield. We are extremely proud of our history as a UK manufacturer. We started making a few oak doors in the mid 90’s, tired of the poor quality and materials of imported doors. From there our business has gone from strength to strength, adding flooring and stair products along the way.
We are now unquestionably the largest producer in the UK of solid timber doors, manufacturing up to 2,000 doors per month. Almost every timber product we produce is manufactured by us in the UK. This gives us not only the ability to control quality but also to offer customisation on many of our lines.
About Our Materials
We believe in understanding our raw materials both from a quality and an environmental perspective. With this in mind, we take the time to work directly with sawmills, mainly in France, to source the beautiful oak needed to make quality products. Every piece of oak we buy goes through our PEFC certification system, so you can be sure your new oak products are sustainably produced.
About Our Machinery
We also want to make our products affordable for our customers, and so we invest in the very latest manufacturing technology and combine it with that irreplaceable handmade touch to give you the best of both worlds. We’ll gladly show you how we make our products if you choose to visit us.
