Landing Glass Panel Dimensions

The landing glass panel measures 270mm wide by 790 high and is designed to ensure your landing handrail meets the UK Building Regulation height of 900mm above the landing. Further to this, our suppliers make each panel using toughened safety glass and is extremely strong.  They make the panels from clear glass and are a full 8mm thick with polished and radiused edges for complete safety.

Landing Glass Panel Quality

Most glass panels on sale in the UK are imported from the far east and are of unknown quality. All of our panels are manufactured in Germany to strict quality standards. This allows us to be sure of the quality we are supplying you. It also means that should your building inspector ask, we can provide certificate evidence that the glass is toughened to comply with UK Building Regulations.

How many do I need?

To calculate the correct number of glass panels for your landing, simply measure the handrail in mm and check in the table below

For each panel you will also require two glass panel clamps in your choice of either brushed or chrome, these are available to purchase as a separate item. We hold the glass panels in stock in our warehouse, so they are readily available and can be dispatched immediately.

Landing Glass Panel Seconds Sales Policy

We currently have items that do not quite meet our quality control standard or that are being discontinued.  Rather than scrap these we choose instead to offer them at a reduced prices as “seconds”.

This particular item is a discontinued product, Heritage have moved away from timber stair parts and are focusing primarily on doors, flooring and stair cladding.

The item will be as described, however it will not be a perfect product – the items can contain small marks, blemishes, dints, scratches, colour variation, etc. On most occasions, these should be able to sand out. The intended use of the item will not be affected, the defects are cosmetic only.

Landing Glass Panel Returns Policy

If you want a perfect unblemished and unmarked product, do not buy this item. Please note that we do not offer refunds on these items for obvious reasons.  Please be aware of this when purchasing.

We will use Parcelforce to deliver your landing glass panel on a 1-2 day service. For further information please feel free to contact us. These items are in stock so can be dispatched from our Sheffield warehouse straight away. We will give you a call first to arrange a delivery date that suits you. Items will not leave us until we have arranged a delivery date directly with you.
