Glass clamps are designed to allow glass stair panels to be securely fitted to ungrooved handrails and base rails. The brackets screw to the face of the rail and then the glass panel is clamped by them. Whilst the brackets are designed for stairs and landing, they can be fitted to any flat surface and are often used for decking for example. Have a look at the case study on the download tab below to see an example of these brackets in use.
Each glass bracket measures 45mm x 45mm x 27mm. You can choose from either singles or multipacks of four glass brackets that offer a significant cost-saving. The brackets are supplied with rubber inserts to cushion the glass and grip onto it solidly so it doesn’t move and there are no rattles. The brackets are designed to fit 8mm thick glass, which is the specification of our glass panels.
These fixings are a very high-quality part. We have these high-pressure die-cast from zinc alloy and then polished prior to finishing. This makes for a much better crisper finish than sand casting them as others may do. The brackets are available either chrome-plated or in a brushed nickel finish. They look superb once in place.
Please note – screws for fixing to your rails are not included. You will need an allen key to clamp them to the glass panels.
We currently have items that do not quite meet our quality control standard or that are being discontinued. Rather than scrap these we choose instead to offer them at a reduced prices as “seconds”.
