WHAT SIZE IS THE LOCK BLOCK AVAILABLE IN?

All the lock blocks that are manufactured using European oak are supplied at 150 x 250mm x 20mm thick

WHAT TIMBER IS THE LOCK BLOCK MADE FROM?

Our oak lock block is manufactured using European oak which is mainly sourced from France.   The material used is made from the exact same timber as the internal oak doors.

The oak lock blocks, also known as latch blocks are manufactured on site in Sheffield.  The main purpose of these items are to sit the suffolk latch onto them during the installation of your internal ledged doors.

The lock blocks work with the suffolk latches or the handles which are available on the hardware page.

Installation

The solid oak lock block is supplied loose so they can be installed on site.  You can then choose the way you prefer the lock block to.  You can install these by gluing/pinning  or both, onto the ledged door.
