Henlle Hall was looking for a luxurious, yet old fashioned style for their cottage makeovers. Meanwhile, they located our classic Heritage Doors to complement their beloved properties.

Heritage Doors: Our Customer

Nestled in rural Shropshire, you will find the stunning Henlle Hall Holiday Cottages. The stunning property offers guests an exclusive experience. Moreover, Henlle Hall has brand new rustic lodges scattered through the woodland across from the Hall. As part of the main house, they feature tastefully converted stable blocks.

Why Choose Heritage?

Heritage Select Rustic Bead & Butt Ledged doors were an ideal fit for the renovation to Henlle’s coach house and stable block.  Above all, the property is very unique to it’s period. This provided exceptional rustic charm which offers a wonderfully luxurious and heavyweight feel.

The products were very adaptable considering our unusual stairs. They look lovely, we’re really pleased with the result

Benefits of Heritage Doors

Due to our ultra-fast lead times and delivery, Henlle Hall has completed the refurbishment of the main stable block and coach house.  The main aim was to convert them into enchanting guest cottages.

The priority was that the interior was high in quality and luxury. On the other hand, the doors also needed to fit into the wonderful old-style features in these mature buildings.

What Specification Was Chosen?

Henlle, in the end, chose Heritage Bead & Butt oak ledged doors. This was a perfect solution to their design requirements. Select Rustic turned out to be the perfect timber grade for the property due to the pleasing balance of knots and character.

The property required various doorway sizes and Heritage’s ability to supply custom-sized doors proved to be a lifesaver. On the contrary, our bespoke sizes were not as expensive as they first thought. 

Fitting & Installation of Heritage Doors

Many of the doors had our optional bracing packs fitted which created the era-appropriate ‘Ledged and Braced’ appearance.

Henlle Hall used the Heritage Hand Forged Beeswax Hardware to finish off their installation in some lodges. Contrarily, in some lodges, they used our (more modern) pewter. Full hardware kits contain everything needed to hang the door. In addition, the doors are also very cost-effective.

We think the end result looks absolutely stunning, likewise, Henlle Hall customers seem to agree. (measured by the high occupancy rates!)
