Castle Engineered

£49.94£62.33 Incl. VAT

Castle takes the ever popular grey theme to new levels. Intense smoky greys create a striking look without overwhelming the natural grain pattern of the oak. In fact the flecks in the grain are picked up by the grey tone to really make the flooring stand out.

Castle is a great choice where you want the warmth of oak flooring but are looking to create a modern interior with a striking floor.

Options

Engineered oak flooring is available in 15mm and 20mm boards thicknesses. 15mm boards must be laid over an existing subfloor. 20mm boards if desired can be laid direct to joists as a structural flooring. For normal 400mm joist centres, the tongue and groove to the ends of the boards means that the joint does not need to finish over a joist. This helps to reduce waste when laying your new engineered oak flooring. 20mm engineered oak flooring can also be used to overlay an existing floor if desired

We offer engineered flooring in an excellent 190mm width which gives a high quality look to your new oak floor

Finishing

Castle Aged engineered Oak flooring is finished using the latest 2 stage finishes. A reactive stain is first used to age and colour the boards, before a hard wearing tinted finish coat is applied over the top. This creates a wonderfully deep finish which is also tough. The two stage process will fill small surface variations, but leaves the grain clearly visible to highlight the real oak surface layer your new flooring is manufactured with.

Aged Oak finishes are hand applied in our UK factory. This allows to us to correctly finish boards and to ensure that you get a great quality floor. You can request samples through the page above. Its well worth doing this as once we finish the flooring it becomes a product customised to you and cannot be returned. We provide samples free with a small postage charge. We're happy to deduct the cost of samples against an order
