Properly installing fire doors to meet building control inspections is critical in ensuring that fire doors perform as intended.  Heritage prebuilt FD30 Custom Oak Ledged and Braced Fire Door Sets are a great way to make sure you are correctly installing the door, with fully compliant hardware and intumescent seals all prefitted.  Your doorset comes with detailed instructions on how to install the frame to the wall opening for proper performance.

We can supply these doorsets in standard sizes or for those unusual sizes we will custom manufacture a door to your exact opening dimension in our UK factory in around 4-6 weeks.

FD30 Custom Oak Ledged and Braced Fire Door Set Contents

• 44mm Oak Engineered Door – Standard or custom sizes
• Flat packed softwood frame – choose from 108, 132 or 150mm widths 44mm thick with loose stops.  Grooved and fitted with intumescent seal, precut & trenched to width
• Certifire hinges with frame and door premachined
• Certifire Latch installed to door
• Your choice of Certifire approved door handle, supplied loose for fitting on site
• Intumescent seals pre installed into door frame

Choose from standard opening sizes below or we will custom make to your exact size.  Based on 44mm frame, 4mm side/top door to frame gap, 10mm bottom gap.

• 890 wide  x 2039 high (838mm door)
• Custom size – Any size up to 1026 x 2208 max (2150 x 930 max door leaf size)

FD30 Custom Oak Ledged and Braced Fire Door Set FD30 Approval

Heritage fire door sets are made to UK FD30 tested standards by Warrington Fire/Chiltern Dymanics.  Each door comes with an FD30 fire label applied to the top face with the test certificate number.  This label should not be removed.  Further details of the test standards and correct installation to opening are included in the installation instructions which can be downloaded from this page and are packed with each FD30 Custom Oak Ledged and Braced Fire Door Set

Specification – FD30S – Additional Specification Over FD30

• Supplied with FD30S certification with the core tested by Warrington Fire to BS476: part 22: 1987
• Drop down smoke seal hidden in the underside of the door
• Door must be installed with FD30S intumescent seals to the door frame.  Details provided in installation instructions
