Oak Veneer Panel 8 X 4

As part of our manufacturing we use MDF oak veneer sheets.  Due to our volumes we buy this at excellent rate so we thought we'd make this available to our customers as full sheets and pass on some savings.

The sheets are manufactured in the UK from 5mm MDF with a 0.5mm oak veneer to either side, resulting in a total panel thickness of 6mm.  The veneer is American white oak and we buy these sheets with a prime grade to one side and a rustic to the other.  This results in an excellent joinery product as you can choose the face that best suits your needs when installing.  Each sheet is press bonded and then put through a wide belt sander so you get a nice smooth surface ready for finishing.

The sheets are the full 8 foot by 4 foot or in metric, 2440mm x 1220mm.  We keep these panels in stock and you are more than welcome to collect from our Sheffield site.   They are large and are shipped palletised.  This does mean shipping for a single board works out very expensive, but as you add boards the cost stays the same so this is an excellent offer if you need quite a few sheets.
