Oak Quarter Turn
Description
Quarter Turns allow a handrail to be turned through 90 degrees and are traditionally used at the top of the stairs where the balustrade runs back along the landing.
They are also used on wall mounted handrail installations to return the handrail to the wall. These are our own manufacture american white oak quarter turns and are designed to fit our oak handrails. Each fitting is supplied with a rail bolt assembly. This is a half machine thread, half wood thread fixing, which allows you to create an invisible and strong connection between the fitting and the handrail.
As with all handrail fittings once connected to the rail you will need to lightly sand the joint between the fitting and the handrail to acheive a perfect finish.
This is part of our American white oak stairparts range which we import direct and stock in depth. You are welcome to visit our showroom and warehouse to view and collect your order. We have trained expert staff on hand who can advise on all aspects of stairparts installation and we have finished displays available so that you can see how your stairparts will look once installed.
