General Terms and Conditions

Dispatch Policy
While every effort will be  made to ensure that all items shown are in stock and this electronic publication does not consitute an offer for sale.  Goods delivered normally arrive between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday in 3 working days of placing your order.  On the Heritage Flooring & External doors, there may be a longer period of delivery, 1-3weeks, this is due to manufacturing the products or made to measure doors on order.  In busy periods, it may take up to 5-6weeks but you will be notified on ordering. You are able to supply your preferred delivery day in the shopping cart, when you purchase your choice of products.  We will then confirm your date of delivery by telephone or email, or to arrange another day which is also convientient to you. 

Delivery surcharges
Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3 days, unless you order The Heritage Flooring or Doors, in this case delivery may take upto 3/4weeks.  In busy periods, this could take longer.  For next day delivery orders must be placed and paid for in full by 10am.  We cannot offer next day deliver for orders which are placed over the weekend or bank holidays.  All next day delivers are subject to what we have in stock.  This does not include Heritage Flooring and Doors.
All flooring deliveries are made to cerbside at the nearest access point to the delievery address.  The driver may need help unloading.  As deliveries are made by a larger lorry or van, it is assumed that the delivery address is accessable by our larger vehicles.  If there is a problem at the delivery addres for example, a  vehicle wouldn't be able to fit down the delivery road due to size or weight, you, the customer need to make us aware when making your order.  If your order does get sent out, and you haven't made us aware of your circumstances with the size and weight of the lorry, there will be a re-delivery charge.  We are unable to give an estimate time on delivery, as all the delivery times are at the couriers descretion not ours at Heritage Doors & Floors LTD. 
If the delivery turns up to your address and you are unable to take the delivery because you are not there, you will be liable for the re-delivery charge of £60 +VAT

Every effort is made to ensure that your products are delivered in perfect condition.  Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regards to damaged items can be made after the driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery.  Products that are refused on delivery and are then found to be undamaged when returned to Heritage Doors & Floors, a charge of £60 will incur.  In the unlikely event that our products are damaged, we will replace them as soon as possible. 
Deliveries cannot be left outside, in porches, garages or any other locations, a signature is required when the driver is delivering your new products. 

When your delivery arrives, you need to make sure that you check all your products have arrived what you have ordered.  A note will need to be made on the delivery note for us to take any further action.  The order confirmation email will list all the items that you have ordered so you can check the items through your email what you purchased.  

Booking Trades People
We strongly recommend that you do not book an installer to install your products on the day of delilvery.  We may experience some problems with the delivery for example traffic, weather, supply-demand, conditions etc.  Please schedule your installer to come after your goods have arrived.  (It is recommended to keep your flooring in the same room as it is going to be fitted).  Delivery days and times are only approximates, and as such, cannot be promised under any circumstances. 

Prices & VAT
The prices which are shown through out our websited excludes VAT.  The VAT will be added as you go through the checkout process and before you make your payment.

Product Guarentee
If you do not use DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) on ground floors, or if you do not use the correct underlay, or have the flooring we have supplied fitted correctly, this will effect your guarentee.

Colours
The colours may vary slightly from the pictures shown on our website.  This is due to limitations of the browser softwares and the monitor you are working on.

Confidentiality
All confidential information, including credit/debit card details are held securely and only transmitted in an enrypted form.  Customer details are not passed to third parties and are only used in accordance with the data protection act 1998.

Consumer Rights
None of the terms and conditions that are stated above effect your statutory consumer rights.
