Cherry Flooring - Solid American Red Cherry

Joinerystore.com manufacture our own range of solid Cherry flooring. We allow the end user to choose their own bespoke flooring to suit their specific requirements.

Its a simple step by step process and at the end you get the Solid Cherry Flooring to suit your specification, start by choosing from the product attributes:

Bespoke Flooring

1. Choose the flooring thicknes 15mm, 18mm and 20mm
2. Choose the flooring width 115mm, 139mm, 168mm and 188mm
3. Choose the flooring lengths 600mm to 1200mm and1200mm to 2400mm
4. Choose flooring profile Micro Bevel or Square Edge
5. Choose end profile End Trimmed, End Matched or Un-Trimmed

Please note the starting price is for the base product 5" in the 600mm to 1200mm bracket in 20mm thicknes untrimmed - When you choose the aditional attributes eg 7" wide flooring the price will change accordingly.

Prime Grade American Red Cherry Flooring

The American Red Cherry flooring is often referred to as the “King of Trees” the heartwood wood from American Black Cherry tree is a beautiful warm red colour which will gradually darken with age to a deep rich colour. The lighter coloured Sapwood is slightly red to a creamy orange in colour.
The Red Cherry timber has a tight grain and machines and finished very well. Again, like Maple it is a relatively hydroscopic wood with an open cell structure and it reacts and expands quite considerably when it comes into contact with moisture and humidity. 
The Red Cherry in comparison to species such as Maple and Oak, Cherry is relatively soft hardwood and will mark and score. The American Red Cherry is not recommended for use in a high traffic area such as sports halls or dance studios.
The Bark of the cherry Tree is used to flavor soft drinks such as “Cherry Cola” and is also used in the flavoring of confectionary items and to add flavor and colour in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.

The American Red Cherry Flooring Colour Grading: -

 85%+ Red 1 face & Better – Premium Price due to colour sorting.
 Mix of Yellow Sapwood and Red heartwood  is included

Some planks will contain a few small knots but mostly clear. The prime grade in American Red Cherry allows sap wood and mineral content.

Delivery

This flooring is manufactured to your specification and the delivery time is around 7-10days.

Please note we cant deliver this flooring using conventional Courier we need to use Haulage companies due to the weight and lentgh this product is available in. Whilst we do our best to keep the delivery costs to a minimum sometimes the stated price can vary due to destination and qty ordered and in some cases we will need to contact you with revised delivery costs - to avoid this please contact us before ordering. We never charge more than we are quoted and we do our best to get the cheapest possible solution.
